Every day is a test.
And I feel blessed that there's a way to take the weight off these shoulders.
So I can rest.
I just can't object, that the task is to impress.
Spark it off from the mic check.
No I won't holt
Done some years and still hungry for it.
Years to come and still hungry for it.
And my family's proud, so that's worth applauding.
Because of them I won't stop, can't let myself drop until we're on top, no I just can't stop.
I'll just let that sink in.
Just let that settle in your mind, get you thinking.
Oh alright, so I better get back to the kitchen.
Recipe of a perfect disaster.
Just jump straight to the mains, no starters.
I'm just going in harder.
And now I stay away from the tiny dancers.
I've learnt a lot of lessons.
From previous relations.
An obvious push just to test my patience.
I'm without faith and done ignoring.
I'm proud to cut out extortion.
Portion by portion.
No matter how exhausting.
What about if everything around me is what I want to see?
What about if it's all a dream?
I wake up and I'm 19, IOW, back on the couch.
Because I drank too much and passed out.
But I tell you one thing, I'd do everything again.
There's a mistake here and there that I'd want to correct.
And a few more things I should accept.
So we should fight fire with water because that makes sense.
Is it too much to comprehend?
That there were simpler times right back somewhen.
Thinking back to the days.
When the summers lasted an age.
Bunny hopping curbs and getting blazed until the sun raised.
I was writing pre school bars.
But now I've grown up.
Still recall on the past.
But don't get held up.
I slam that door shut.
And take no shortcuts.
I may be newer to these parts.
You may be clued up and wiser.
But I will give you trouble bigger than there was in Little China.
